There's always been one thing that I've wondered about Katniss.
From the beginning, she's portrayed as selfless- volunteering to save her sister, knowing that it meant death. But in the series, ever since then, she came off as a little bit selfish! Peeta, to me, is the selfless one- after all, just think about in the second book when they found out they were going back in. Katniss ran off crying and got drunk, Peeta went to Haymitch to plan about the best way to save Katniss's life. I think that she didn't start being selfless until the middle of Catching Fire, where she became determined to save Peeta's life over her own. What about you guys? Is Katniss selfless, or selfish?
