In the Hunger Games Trilogy, I notice that both people and the citizens have different powers. Both powers can be weak and strong. The citizens rebel against the capitol while the capitol can wipe the citizens out and the districts. But my main concern is who has more power?
First of all, the capitol controls the whole 12 districts and they can do whatever they want to do with it. If they see rebelling, the citizens would be gone. Each year they hold a hunger games to show how you couldn't stand a chance against the capitol just as district 13’s result. They also have the power to remove district 13 as the first book said. I think their weakness is they can be overpowered by citizens. The pressure is on them and the capitol may have to surrender. In that case citizens have more power. They went on a rebellion against the capitol and last they won. The citizen’s team work together, probably took some sacrifices but it was worth it.
It is very hard for me to choose because if the story didn’t go in a good way, both sides have equal power. Almost every book has a good ending to it and so does this series. I think the author wants the good ending instead of bad. Both sides can overpower and stump each other. The capitol can destroy all districts’ and citizens ruling over the capitol and restore peace.
